NAĹ A - Concept Car: Travels Sideways too!

What everyone thinks about when buying a car is how long the design of the car would remain in style. Even before we think about how fuel-efficient the car is, it is the designer’s credibility that we check. After all, who wants to spend a huge amount of money on a car that is going to go out of style in a few months? So, what’s the best way to ensure that your car would remain in style for as long as possible? How about buying a futuristic car? NAŠA - Concept car may look cool enough to be driven on the moon, but it was designed for roads on Earth.

Designed by two Czech students, Marek Kedzierski and Michal VlÄŤek, the concept was the first finalist in the Ĺ koda Auto competition. The students of industrial design at TBU, Zlin, stated that the NAĹ A - Concept car was their vision of future cars. The design of the car looks like something Tom Cruise would drive in his next Mission:Impossible movie. Sans doors, the car consists of an upper body that rises to reveal the two-seater and slowly closes when the car is ready to drive off. This upper body made of neoprene fits snugly around the neck of the users encasing their whole body within the car. This definitely ensures safety for the body but may leave the head decapitated during an accident!

The wheels of the car also appear to rotate on its own axis giving the car the uber cool ability to be driven sideways and to turn 360 on the spot!
